Mountain Man Adventure Tours is a small, family-run outfitter founded by Chris and Taryn in 2010, offering some of Sun Peaks' most memorable backcountry experiences. Based at the resort, the company specializes in guided snowmobile tours and authentic dog-sledding adventures through the pristine terrain surrounding Tod Mountain and the wider Thompson-Nicola region.
Snowmobile tours run daily in two- and four-hour formats, taking guests deep into the backcountry across groomed trails, wide-open frozen lakes, and clear alpine meadows aboard modern Ski-Doo Expedition sleds. The dog-sledding program is a genuine bucket-list experience — guests meet the team of huskies, learn to handle the sled, and glide along private trails through snow-laden forest. Having acquired the resort's official snowmobile tour operation, Mountain Man is now the primary provider of both activities at Sun Peaks.
