About Muttereralm Bikepark & Adventure
Muttereralm is Innsbruck's closest mountain adventure destination, accessible by gondola from the village of Mutters just seven kilometres south of the city centre. Officially branded as the "Mountain of Adventure", the resort operates year-round with a lift-accessed bike park in summer and a family-friendly ski area, toboggan run, and snowpark in winter.
The Bikepark Innsbruck at Muttereralm features 10 trails and areas ranging from beginner flow lines to technical enduro and jump tracks, all with spectacular views over the Inn Valley. Beyond biking, summer visitors can ride the five-kilometre Mountain Cart descent from summit to valley station, tackle the high ropes course, explore the adventure playground and Stilt House, or hike the panoramic trails around the reservoir. Equipment rental and bike schools operate on-site.
Muttereralm's strength is its proximity to Innsbruck combined with genuine alpine terrain. Families appreciate the Wichtelexpress train, the Magic Water play area, and the Panoramasee lake, while serious riders come for the Gravity Card trails and the annual Backyard Battle competition. A regular bus connects Mutters to Innsbruck every 30 minutes, making it easily reachable without a car.
