About Octopus Mallorca
Octopus Mallorca is a PADI Dive Center based in Port de Soller on the island's rugged northwest coast, right at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains. The centre combines scuba diving with boat-based snorkelling tours and coasteering excursions, taking advantage of Port de Soller's horseshoe bay and the dramatic underwater topography just offshore. Their location in one of Mallorca's most picturesque harbour towns draws visitors who want a more authentic, less commercialised dive experience.
Diving services range from Discover Scuba sessions for beginners through to PADI Open Water, Advanced, and speciality certifications. Their signature VIP Double Dive tour takes certified divers to two sites in a single morning aboard a private chartered boat, with sites chosen based on conditions and experience level. For non-divers, Octopus runs guided snorkelling boat trips and combination coasteering-and-snorkelling adventures along the cliffs north of Port de Soller.
The northwest coast location gives Octopus access to dive sites that most south-coast operators can't reach — sheer walls, underwater arches, and boulder fields where grouper, octopus, and nudibranchs are common sightings. The vintage Soller tram drops visitors right at the harbour, making the centre easy to reach without a car. Personalised service and small group sizes keep the experience feeling exclusive.
