About Tramuntana Diving & Adventure
Tramuntana Diving & Adventure is an SSI Training Centre located in Port de Pollensa on Mallorca's northern coast, just metres from the harbour. Named after the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range that plunges into the sea nearby, the centre specialises in diving the dramatic underwater landscapes of the north — submerged caves, sheer walls, and rocky pinnacles that attract advanced divers from across Europe.
Their programme covers introductory Try Dives, SSI Open Water and Advanced certifications, freediving courses, and guided dive excursions to sites around Pollensa Bay and Formentor. Beyond diving, Tramuntana offers canyoning trips in the Tramuntana mountains, coasteering along the northern cliffs, guided sea kayaking, rock climbing, and cliff jumping — a genuine multi-adventure operation. Snorkelling excursions and SUP hire round out the roster for non-divers in the group.
The northern location is key to Tramuntana's appeal. Port de Pollensa sits at the foot of the Cap de Formentor peninsula, where underwater visibility regularly exceeds 25 metres and marine life includes grouper, moray eels, and occasional eagle rays. The centre's small-group approach and bilingual instructors make it a favourite with families and couples looking for more than just a beach holiday.
