About Oregon Inlet Fishing Center
Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is the largest and most modern charter boat fishing fleet on the entire East Coast, located at the north end of the Marc Basnight Bridge within the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. With a fleet of more than 40 charter boats, the center has been the go-to destination for offshore, nearshore, and inshore fishing on the Outer Banks for decades.
Anglers can book half-day and full-day offshore trips targeting blue marlin, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi, and sailfish in the Gulf Stream, or opt for nearshore bottom-fishing and inshore sound trips for flounder, red drum, and speckled trout. All fishing equipment is provided, and each captain brings years of local knowledge to put guests on the fish. The center also operates the Miss Oregon Inlet head boat for affordable group trips.
Beyond the fishing, the full-service marina offers fuel, bait and tackle, fish cleaning stations, and a ship store. Its location inside the national seashore means stunning scenery on every trip, and the short run to the Gulf Stream keeps anglers on productive water longer than nearly any other port on the mid-Atlantic coast.
