About Pure Aloha Adventures
Pure Aloha Adventures is a woman-owned paddleboard outfitter with over a decade of experience teaching SUP lessons and guiding tours on the calm waters around Pensacola Beach. They're the only operator licensed to run paddleboard excursions inside the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, giving their guests access to pristine coastal habitats that other companies can't reach.
Their lesson programme covers first-timers through advanced paddlers, with stand-up paddleboard yoga and Paddle Pilates classes adding a fitness dimension that goes beyond basic board-and-paddle rentals. Board deliveries are available to various launch points around Pensacola Beach, and group sizes are kept small so instructors can give hands-on correction and encouragement. They also run sunset SUP sessions when the light on the Gulf is at its best.
The exclusive Bon Secour refuge access is what truly sets Pure Aloha apart — paddlers glide through undeveloped barrier island habitat where sea turtles nest, shorebirds feed, and dolphins cruise through the shallows without a jet ski in sight. It's a completely different experience from the busy boardwalk rental spots, and the guides know the refuge's tidal patterns and wildlife rhythms inside out.
