The sailing school teaches keelboat courses from beginner through advanced levels, with certified instruction delivered aboard cruising sailboats on the bay. Qualified sailors can take out bareboat charters for day sails or multi-day cruises to the coves, islands, and glacier fjords south of town, while skippered charters put a licensed captain at the helm for guests who simply want to experience the bay under sail.
