About Season Challenge
Season Challenge is a PADI 5-Star IDC Dive Resort based at the main marina in Ponta Delgada, offering professional scuba diving instruction and guided dive trips across São Miguel's underwater terrain. Equipped with a BAUER PureAir certified filling station, they maintain some of the highest equipment and safety standards of any dive operation in the Azores.
Their services span the complete PADI course catalogue — from introductory Discover Scuba sessions and Open Water certifications to advanced specialties including deep diving, enriched air nitrox, and the prestigious Instructor Development Course. Daily guided fun dives take certified divers to volcanic walls, reef formations, and offshore pinnacles where large pelagics including devil rays and blue sharks are regularly spotted during summer.
