About Tofino Surf Adventures
Tofino Surf Adventures is a surf school and guiding service on Campbell Street, offering certified group, family, and private surf lessons for all skill levels year-round. Every session runs a full three hours with roughly two to two-and-a-half hours of water time, giving students more wave practice than most Tofino surf schools include in a standard lesson.
Beyond beginner lessons, they offer intermediate and advanced coaching, multi-day surf camps, and surf guiding sessions where experienced surfers are taken to the best breaks of the day based on current swell, tide, and wind conditions. All gear — boards, wetsuits, boots, gloves, and hoods — is included with lessons, and the shop carries a retail selection of surf accessories and apparel.
The instructors are ISA and Surf Canada certified, with years of experience reading the notoriously variable Pacific Rim surf. Located on Campbell Street in the heart of town, Tofino Surf Adventures is within walking distance of most accommodations and a short drive from Cox Bay, Chesterman Beach, and Long Beach — the three main surf breaks in the area.
