About Ziptrek Ecotours Mont-Tremblant
Ziptrek Ecotours is the official zipline operator at Mont-Tremblant resort, running the longest zipline course in the province of Quebec from the mountain summit down to the pedestrian village. Originally founded in Whistler, British Columbia, Ziptrek brought its proven eco-adventure model to Mont-Tremblant and quickly became one of the resort's signature summer experiences.
The course features multiple ziplines of varying length and height, plus tree-top platforms, suspension bridges, and a boardwalk through the forest canopy. Guided interpreters lead groups along the route, sharing information about the Laurentian ecosystem and the mountain's natural history. The experience lasts approximately two to three hours and requires no prior zipline experience — harnesses, helmets, and full safety briefings are provided.
What makes Ziptrek special is the combination of adrenaline and education. Rather than a simple thrill ride, each tour is built around ecological storytelling, with guides pointing out tree species, bird habitats, and watershed features along the way. The final lines offer stunning aerial views of the resort village and surrounding mountains. Check-in is at the Adventure Centre in the Sommet des Neiges building, right in the heart of the pedestrian village.
