Dive Zone Whitianga is a PADI 5 Star dive centre on Campbell Street in Whitianga, giving divers and snorkellers access to the clear waters and reefs of the Coromandel's east coast. The shop offers the full spread of scuba services, from first-time discovery dives and full PADI certifications through to guided boat dives for qualified divers.
Trips explore the marine life of Mercury Bay, the Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve and nearby reefs and pinnacles, where snapper, crayfish, stingrays and colourful sponge gardens are common sights. The centre runs guided boat dives, shore dives and snorkelling trips, and rents out scuba and snorkel gear for those bringing their own plans.
