About Island Action Sports
Island Action Sports is the full-service beach gear shop for St. Pete Beach and the surrounding barrier islands, based at 427 75th Ave near the Corey Avenue district. Instead of asking vacationers to haul equipment across the island, the shop built its business around delivery, dropping rentals at condos, resorts, and beach accesses from Pass-a-Grille up through Treasure Island.
The inventory covers nearly everything a beach week requires: beach cruiser bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, surfboards, skimboards, and skateboards, plus the leisure side of the equation — beach chairs, umbrellas, cornhole sets, and beach wheelchairs for guests with mobility needs. Rentals run by the day or the week, and the team also arranges kayak fishing setups for anglers who want to work the flats. Everything is delivered, set up, and collected on schedule, so guests without roof racks or truck beds are covered.
The breadth is the differentiator: it is one of the only operators on the island where a family can source bikes, boards, boats, and beach furniture in a single order. Free delivery across the St. Pete Beach area, flexible rental periods, and the beach wheelchair inventory — a genuinely scarce service on the Gulf beaches — have made it the practical first call for arriving vacationers.
