About Ko Lipe Diving School
Ko Lipe Diving School has taught from Walking Street since 2012 and has grown into the biggest dive operation on the island. It holds official PADI five-star IDC status (S-27602) and is registered as a school with the Thai Ministry of Education, a rare credential among island dive shops.
The course list runs the full ladder: Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water for beginners, Advanced and Rescue, Divemaster and instructor development, PADI TecRec technical training, plus SSI options and freediving. Daily trips on spacious dive boats and traditional longtails cover 8 Mile Rock, Stonehenge, the Yong Hua wreck, and the reef lines of Koh Adang and Koh Rawi.
The school also operates The Dive Shop, the largest dive retail store on Koh Lipe and an official dealer for Scubapro, Suunto, Apeks, and other major brands. That combination means a diver can get trained, fitted for gear, and have equipment serviced without leaving Walking Street, backed by a multilingual instructor team.
