About Raya Divers Khao Lak
Raya Divers has been diving Thai waters since 2000 and runs its Khao Lak base from Khuk Khak, part of a network that also covers Phuket and, in the European summer, Greece. The parent company is Finnish, and the operation has been the go-to dive shop for Nordic travelers on the Andaman coast for a quarter century.
From Khao Lak the team runs dive day trips to the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock, along with liveaboard bookings, snorkeling safaris to the Surin Islands, and island tours toward Phang Nga Bay. PADI training runs from Discover Scuba through Rescue Diver, and the shop rents full equipment sets for every trip.
Language is the standout. Guides and instructors work in English, Finnish, Swedish, and Russian, so guests can take a dive course or a safety briefing in their own language, which matters more underwater than anywhere else. Western safety standards, multilingual crews, and a schedule that mixes diving with snorkeling days make Raya a practical pick for families where not everyone dives.
