About Sea Dragon Dive Center
Sea Dragon Dive Center opened in 1993 as the first dive school in Khao Lak and has been running trips to the Similan and Surin Islands ever since. The shop sits on the main road through town, and more than three decades of daily operations in these waters show in how the crews read conditions, currents, and seasons.
Two liveaboards, MV Andaman and MV Explorer, run multi-night itineraries covering the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock. Day trips visit local reefs and the Boonsung Wreck, a shallow tin-dredger site packed with honeycomb morays and schooling fish. As a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center, Sea Dragon teaches everything from Open Water through instructor-level training, with rental gear available for every trip.
