About Sirigos Sailing
Sirigos Sailing is a family-owned catamaran cruise company operated by locals born and raised on Santorini. They run their 44-foot Lagoon catamaran out of Vlychada, the island's fisherman's refuge on the southern coast, offering private and semi-private day cruises, sunset sails, and special-occasion charters. Every trip is treated like a family affair — the Sirigos crew cook fresh Greek food on board, pour local wine, and share stories about growing up on the island.
Their standard day cruise sails past the caldera cliffs, the hot springs of Palea Kameni, the volcanic island of Nea Kameni, and several secluded swimming spots inaccessible by road. Guests swim, snorkel, and sunbathe on the catamaran's spacious deck nets while the crew prepares grilled seafood, salads, and meze. Private charters accommodate up to 17 guests and can be customised for honeymoons, proposals, bachelor parties, or corporate outings. Sunset cruises time the return trip to catch golden hour over the caldera.
What guests consistently praise is the authentic, unhurried atmosphere — Sirigos Sailing feels less like a commercial tour and more like being invited onto a friend's boat. The family's deep knowledge of local waters means they always find the best anchorages, avoid the crowded spots, and adjust routes based on wind and sea conditions. It's a genuine, personal sailing experience in a market full of cookie-cutter operators.
