About SKYBike Dubrovnik
SKYBike Dubrovnik is a one-of-a-kind aerial cycling attraction perched atop Mount Srd, the 412-metre hill that rises directly behind the Old Town. Riders pedal a specially engineered bicycle suspended on a steel cable high above the ground, covering two 150-metre runs — one in each direction — while taking in panoramic views of the city walls, Lokrum Island, and the open Adriatic. The experience is part adventure sport, part sightseeing, and there is nothing else quite like it on the Croatian coast.
The bikes feature ergonomic seating, sturdy harnesses, and state-of-the-art cable propulsion systems. All equipment undergoes regular maintenance and safety inspections, and staff brief every rider before departure. The attraction operates daily from 10 AM to 6 PM, with the meeting point a short walk from the upper cable car station on Srd. Visitors can combine a SKYBike ride with the cable car itself for a full half-day mountain-top outing.
SKYBike's appeal lies in the view — at roughly 300 metres above sea level, the vantage point rivals the cable car lookout but adds the thrill of an open-air pedal across the sky. It is accessible to most fitness levels, and children accompanied by an adult can ride. For Dubrovnik visitors seeking something beyond kayaking and walking tours, SKYBike delivers a genuinely novel experience.
