About Steamboat Zipline Adventures
Steamboat Zipline Adventures operates a state-of-the-art zipline course along the historic Rabbit Ears Pass corridor, approximately ten miles east of downtown Steamboat Springs. The facility combines high-flying aerial thrills with scenic backcountry exploration, making it one of the top adrenaline-pumping attractions in the Yampa Valley.
The course features six zipline segments of varying lengths and heights, two quick-jump belay systems for a controlled free-fall experience, and an ATV ride along the old Rabbit Ears Pass Road that takes guests through scenic forest terrain. All equipment and safety gear is provided, and trained guides accompany every group through the entire course. The experience is suitable for ages seven and up, with weight requirements for safety.
What sets this operation apart is the combination of zipline thrills with the ATV backcountry tour — guests get both aerial and ground-level perspectives of the stunning Routt National Forest landscape. The course runs from late May through early October, weather permitting, with multiple departure times daily during peak season.
