About Sunny Cove Kayaking
Sunny Cove Kayaking is a woman-owned sea kayaking outfitter operating from 4th Avenue in Seward since 1996, making it one of the longest-running paddle companies on Resurrection Bay. The team of local professional guides has spent nearly three decades introducing visitors to the protected coves, tidewater glaciers, and abundant marine wildlife of the Kenai Fjords region.
Trips range from easy half-day paddles on Resurrection Bay to full-day combination adventures that pair a wildlife cruise with kayaking near Fox Island or inside Kenai Fjords National Park. Guided hikes and multi-activity packages round out the menu, and all tours run in small groups with stable double kayaks, dry gear, and full instruction, so complete beginners are welcome alongside experienced paddlers. The season runs from mid-May through early September.
