About Tirol Rafting
Tirol Rafting is a multi-activity adventure outfitter based in the village of Sautens at the mouth of the Oetztal Valley, approximately 45 minutes from Innsbruck. Their outdoor camp sits in a spectacular mountain setting surrounded by streams, forests, and high alpine peaks, serving as the launch point for a diverse range of guided summer adventures across the region.
Rafting is the flagship activity, with trips ranging from family-friendly Class II floats to the demanding Oetztaler Ache gorge run rated Class IV-V. Alongside rafting, Tirol Rafting offers guided canyoning through waterfalls and narrow slot canyons, via ferrata excursions at six different difficulty levels across Tirol, caving explorations, high ropes courses, and guided hiking. All necessary equipment and wetsuits are included, and taxi transfers from the base camp to each activity's starting point are provided as standard.
The company prides itself on its certified state-licensed guides, modern safety equipment, and a welcoming base camp with hot showers, changing facilities, and a communal relaxation area. Multi-activity packages and group deals make it popular with stag parties, corporate teams, and school groups. Trips run Monday through Sunday throughout the summer season, with multiple departure times daily, making it easy to fit an adventure into any Innsbruck-area itinerary.
