About Treetop Trekking Huntsville
Treetop Trekking Huntsville is a zipline and aerial adventure park on Highway 60, across from Deerhurst Resort and about five minutes east of downtown Huntsville. It is one of several parks run by Treetop Trekking, the operator behind Ontario's first zipline aerial park, and it sits in mixed forest and Canadian Shield rock typical of Muskoka.
The main Zipline and Aerial Game Trek gives guests three hours to work through courses that range from beginner to expert, using ziplines, swinging bridges, monkey cables and Tarzan swings. The Trek is open to ages 9 and up, advanced courses start at 12, and a Discovery Course lets kids from age 5 try a lower route. The park also offers a ZipTour and a Treewalk Village. The season runs from mid-May to Thanksgiving, with daily hours in July and August and a reduced schedule in spring and fall.
Because courses are graded by difficulty, mixed-age families and groups can split up and still finish together. Free parking, picnic areas, washrooms, refreshments and an on-site shop make it a simple half-day stop for anyone staying at Deerhurst or passing through on the way to Algonquin Park.
