Setting Up Your Widget

Getting your booking widget ready takes about 15 minutes. This guide walks you through each tab of the Booking Widget settings page.

Before You Start

Make sure you have the following in place:

  • At least one product or experience created with pricing set up
  • Business details configured (business name, address, timezone) in Settings → Business details
  • Admin or Manager access — you need the Settings permission

The Four Tabs

  1. Click Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Click Booking widget.

You'll see four tabs at the top:

Tab 1: Appearance

Brand Colors

  1. Primary color — used for buttons, links, and accents. Click the swatch or type a hex code.
  2. Text color — body text and labels. Default dark gray works for most sites.

Default Listing View

Grid or List — the default layout for product and experience listings. Customers can switch on the widget itself.

Timezone Label Style

Short (PDT) or long (Pacific Daylight Time). See Timezone Display Style.

Default Listing Mode (Experiences)

Activities / By date / Let customer choose. See Listing Mode.

Widget URL

Custom human-readable slug for your booking URL. See Widget URL Slug.

Voucher Sales

Toggle on to let customers buy gift vouchers through the widget.

Trust Badges

🔒 Secured and ✨ Health & Safety badges at the top of the widget. See Trust Badges.

Social Sharing

Tagline + share image for link previews on WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter. Edit at the bottom of the Appearance tab.

Click Update at the bottom of the tab to save Appearance-level settings. Trust badges and Social sharing have their own Save buttons.

Tab 2: Customer Details

Contact Fields

For each of Last name, Phone, Address, Country — pick Required / Optional / Hidden. (First name and email are always required for the lead booker.)

Participant Fields

For each of Last name, Email, Date of birth — pick Required / Optional / Hidden. (First name is always required.)

Marketing Opt-in

Toggle on to show a marketing checkbox on checkout with a customisable label.

Participant Comments

Toggle on to show a free-text Comments textarea on every participant card. See Participant Comments.

Click Save customer details to save.

Tab 3: Wizards

Optional guided booking flow for rentals and experiences.

  1. On the Rentals tab, toggle Enable wizard flow for guided bookings?.
  2. On the Experiences tab, do the same if you want a wizard for experiences.
  3. Optionally click Manage experience/skill levels to group items by ability.
  4. Use the Categories and Products/Experiences dropdowns under each level to assign items.
  5. Click Update.

Tab 4: Embed

Embed Snippets

Three sub-tabs — Rentals, Experiences, Store. Each offers:

  • Option A — An iframe embed code (Copy code button)
  • Option B — A direct link (Copy link button)
  • A live preview of the widget below
