About Aloha Adventure Farms
Aloha Adventure Farms is a working farm in Holualoa, about fifteen minutes upslope from Kailua-Kona, and the only ATV tour operation on the Kona side of the Big Island. The property climbs the flanks of Hualalai through coffee trees and tropical fruit orchards, with lookout points that frame the Kona coastline far below.
Guests choose between driving their own ATV or riding in a guide-driven UTV, which makes the experience workable for mixed groups — confident riders take the handlebars while families with younger kids share a side-by-side. Tours roll through farm roads and trails with stops for coastline views and hands-on farm moments, and the separate Hawaiian exotic fruit tasting tour lets visitors sample whatever the orchards are producing that week. Group bookings and private outings are both available.
The farm setting is what separates Aloha Adventure Farms from lava-field riding elsewhere on the island: this is green, shaded, agricultural upcountry with genuine Hawaiian hospitality woven through. For Kona and Kohala visitors, it is also the practical choice — every other off-road tour on the island means crossing to the windward side, while Holualoa is a short drive up the hill.
