About Arrowhead Bike Farm
Arrowhead Bike Farm sits on Gatewood Road outside Fayetteville, West Virginia, seconds from an entrance to New River Gorge National Park. It began as a mountain bike outfitter and grew into a campground, bike shop and beer garden built around the Arrowhead stacked-loop trail system and the Long Point Trail, both of which can be ridden straight from the property.
The shop runs a fleet of Trek mountain bikes for full-day rentals, handles sales, parts and repairs, and operates a mountain bike school staffed by the only certified instructors in the area, which suits riders moving up from gravel roads to rocky Appalachian singletrack. Camping is open year round, with sites laid out for people who want to ride, climb at Kaymoor Top or paddle from the Cunard put-in and take-out without a long drive each morning.
The Handle Bar and Kitchen is where the day ends, serving food alongside a long list of local and national craft beer on tap, in bottles and in cans. Downtown Fayetteville is a few minutes by car or a walk in on the Timber Ridge Trail across Wolf Creek, so riders can camp on the trail network and still get into town for dinner.
