About BB Divers
BB Divers has been teaching diving from Koh Chang since 2003, making it the longest-running dive school on the island. Founded by Belgian diver Kristel and staffed by an international team, the PADI Five Star IDC center runs its main operation from Bang Bao pier on the south coast, with a training pool and classroom in Lonely Beach and a sister branch on Koh Kood.
Daily trips leave on the company's own boats for the reefs of Koh Rang National Marine Park and the HTMS Chang, Thailand's largest wreck. Courses run from first-time intro dives through Open Water, Rescue, and professional internships, plus freediving certification and a coral propagation program for divers who want hands-on reef restoration work.
Scale is the difference here. Three boats, shop locations across the island, and budget rooms at the company's Cliff Cottage resort let BB Divers put together multi-day dive-and-stay packages that smaller shops cannot match, and the crew has kept an eco-minded approach at the center of the operation for more than two decades.
