About Blue Planet Diving
Blue Planet Diving is a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort based at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel on the Lapad peninsula. The centre has been introducing divers to the Adriatic's underwater world for years, running everything from introductory Discover Scuba Diving sessions to full PADI Instructor Development Courses. Their location on Masarykov put gives direct access to some of the best dive sites along Dubrovnik's rocky southern coastline.
The dive menu covers guided shore dives, boat dives to deeper reef and wreck sites, night dives, and snorkeling excursions for non-divers. Certified divers can explore walls, caverns, and the remains of cargo ships, while beginners start in sheltered shallows before heading to open water. All equipment — BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, tanks, and computers — is available for hire, and the shop stocks a range of accessories for purchase.
What makes Blue Planet stand out is its PADI 5 Star IDC status, one of the highest accreditations a dive centre can earn. Their instructor team speaks multiple languages and keeps ratios low so every diver gets proper attention. The crystal-clear Adriatic visibility — often exceeding 20 metres — and the healthy marine life around Dubrovnik make this one of the top dive operations in Croatia.
