About Chute 'Em Up Parasailing
Chute 'Em Up, also known as Port A Parasail, has been flying visitors over the waters off Port Aransas since 2001 and has logged more than 50,000 flights from its dock on West Cotter Avenue. It is the island's established parasailing operator and a bucket-list stop for families visiting Mustang Island.
Guests take off and land directly from the flight deck of the company's U.S. Coast Guard-inspected boat — no beach launches and no getting wet unless riders ask for a dip. Flights climb to as high as 500 feet above the Gulf and channels, single, tandem and triple flights are available, and non-flying observers can ride along. Ages six and up are welcome, and the boat carries up to 15 passengers per trip.
Two decades of accident-free family flying, a certified crew and membership in the Water Sports Industry Association underpin the operation's safety-first reputation. The bird's-eye view of the jetties, beaches and dolphin-filled channels is one of the most memorable perspectives on Port Aransas.
