About Phi Phi Pirate Boat
Phi Phi Pirate Boat runs the island's most recognizable day tour: a custom-built pirate ship that departs Tonsai around midday and spends roughly seven hours working through Phi Phi's bays, caves, and beaches before sailing home at sunset. Boarding is from the beach on the eastern side of Tonsai Bay, and the top-deck bar opens as soon as the anchor comes up.
The tour packs in five or more stops depending on season and conditions, including Maya Bay and Monkey Beach, with time built in for snorkeling over the reefs, kayaking and paddleboarding off the ship, and jumping from the top deck into open water. National marine park fees, beer, cocktails, water, tea, and coffee are included, and the crew cooks a Thai fried rice dinner on board as the light goes gold.
Guides work in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and the mix of activity stops and a slow-burn deck party gives the trip a different rhythm from the speedboat circuits: less rushing between photo stops, more time actually in the water. The evening run back to Tonsai, with live music and the cliffs of Phi Phi Leh in silhouette, is the part guests talk about afterward.
