About Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center
Phi Phi Scuba Diving Center has been teaching divers since 1989 and operates from the bright yellow two-story building visible from the ferry as it pulls into Tonsai Pier. It is the largest dive school on the island, certified to teach both PADI and SSI programs, with dive services on the ground floor and a relaxed lounge upstairs where students swap stories between sessions.
A fleet of seven boats lets the center schedule trips to every dive area around Phi Phi on a daily basis: local reefs, Shark Point, Bida Nok and Bida Nai, the King Cruiser wreck, night dives, and longer runs south to Hin Daeng and Koh Ha when conditions allow. Courses cover Open Water through Advanced, Rescue, and Divemaster internships.
Despite its size, the center keeps ratios tight at no more than four divers per divemaster, and multilingual staff handle briefings in the language students actually think in. A videographer joins the boats, so certifications and fun dives come home as footage rather than fading memories. For divers who want maximum site choice on any given day, the big fleet is the draw.
