About Leisure Dive Center
Leisure Dive Center sits on Laem Tong Beach at the quiet northeastern tip of Koh Phi Phi Don, well away from the crowds of Tonsai. The PADI dive center serves the resort strip along the beach and welcomes both complete beginners and certified divers, with instructors teaching in English, Spanish, and Dutch.
Daily trips reach an unusually wide spread of sites: the Bida islands, Shark Point, Anemone Reef, the King Cruiser and Kled Kaew wrecks, Phi Leh Wall, Mushroom Rock, and the Laem Tong house reef right off the sand. The course list is one of the deepest on the island for families, running from Bubblemaker and Junior Open Water through adult Open Water, Advanced, Emergency First Response, and Rescue Diver, plus refresher sessions for divers coming back after a break.
Location is the real differentiator. Divers staying at the northern resorts skip the longtail commute into town, sites like Whaleshark Wall and Nui Rocks are closer from this end of the island, and the house reef makes an easy shakeout dive or snorkel straight from the beach. It is the practical choice for anyone based on Laem Tong.
