About The Scuba Squad
The Scuba Squad is a Thai/German managed PADI Five Star IDC center in Bang Bao fishing village, sitting directly at the parking lot in front of the pier at Koh Chang's southern tip. The shop runs its own dive boat, an onsite training pool, and a classroom, with five PADI instructors on staff and daily departures through the season.
Trips cover the best of the archipelago: the HTMS Chang wreck, Koh Rang National Marine Park, Hin Luk Bat, Hin Raab, Koh Yak, and the smaller T11 wreck. Courses run from first-try intro dives through Open Water, Rescue, and professional-level training, and the counter handles air and Nitrox fills, equipment sales, kids' gear, and DPV scooter rental.
What makes the Squad distinct is language. Instructors from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland teach courses fully in German, so divers who would rather not sit through theory in English get certified in their own language, while English-language teaching runs in parallel for everyone else.
