Viator uses your key to check your times and make bookings. Every active experience with a price is on Viator unless you switch it off, and every booking lands in EquipDash.

Q: Will connecting Viator cause double-bookings?

No. Viator sells from the same availability as your booking page and your counter, so a spot sold anywhere is gone everywhere.

Q: Do I have to enter Viator bookings manually?

No. They arrive on their own, on your calendar and in your reports, and the customer is added to EquipDash.

Q: What is Viator and how does it help my business?

Viator is a marketplace where travelers find and book things to do, part of Tripadvisor. It puts your experiences in front of people planning a trip.

Q: Can I still take direct bookings on my own website?

Yes. Your booking page, POS and Viator all sell from the same calendar.

Q: Does pricing stay in sync?

Yes. Send price changes to Viator is on by default, so new prices go to Viator for you.

Q: How long does setup take?

Make your key in EquipDash, then in Viator's Management Center go to Account > Connectivity > Connect Now, pick EquipDash and paste the key and your Supplier ID. Viator confirms in about 2-3 business days. Then connect each product under Products > Manage > Product connection. You can also email Viator your details from EquipDash instead.

Connect Viator in four steps

The Viator page in EquipDash shows these steps and ticks each one off. Find it in Settings, API & Integrations.

Connect EquipDash in Viator. Press Make my Viator key. In Viator's Management Center, go to Account > Connectivity > Connect Now, pick EquipDash and paste the key.
Add your Viator Supplier ID. It is in your Viator account. Paste it in Viator next to your key, and in EquipDash.
Connect your products in Viator. Viator confirms in about 2-3 business days. Then go to Products > Manage > Product connection and pick each product's EquipDash code.
Get your first booking. Bookings arrive in EquipDash like any other, with your confirmation email if you want it.

You can also email Viator your key and Supplier ID from EquipDash.
