Q: Can I use my own chart of accounts?

Yes. You pick the account for rental sales, experience sales, store sales, delivery, kept security deposits and payments. Type them the way MYOB shows them, like 4-1000.

Q: How are tax codes handled?

Each of your EquipDash tax rules is matched to a MYOB tax code. Australian shops start with GST and FRE, New Zealand shops with S and Z, and you can change any of them.

Q: What about security deposits?

A deposit you only held and then released never shows up as income. A deposit you kept goes to the account you chose for kept security deposits.

Q: My bank feed already brings in Stripe payouts. Will they be counted twice?

Not if you turn off card fees and payouts on the MYOB page. Then only your sales, payments and refunds go across.

Q: Can my staff change the MYOB settings?

Only people you’ve allowed to manage integrations can change the accounts and tax codes. Other staff can see the page but can’t change anything.
