Kayaks, paddleboards, jet skis and beach gear rented by the hour, with guided tours that run on the same kayaks as the rental rack.
Inside the business
Hourly rate cards, tours that share the rental kayaks, the jet ski hold and the wind rules, all on EquipDash.
Kayaks booked by the hour, a family helped by Dash, and the jet ski held for approval.

Guests checked back in from the eco-tour, and the day at the counter on a phone.
Age, boating card, briefing, life jackets and the kill switch checked, then a $500 hold.
Reviews a day after every rental, and the Saturday hour that needs the most boards.
The morning brief, walk-ups and returns, the wind rule, and the phone answered.

Step by step
From the booking page to the reports at the end of the day.
A single kayak for two hours on Saturday, with the return time and the two-hour rate worked out as it is picked. A snorkel set and dry bag on the same card, and the waiver signed at checkout.
A family who have never paddled asks the chat on the booking page what to rent. Dash suggests what suits beginners with kids, and they book two tandem kayaks without leaving the chat.
The Beach Day link from Instagram asks for the date first, so every card shows what's still free. The Family Beach Day bundle shows what it saves, with setup on the beach as an add-on.
The jet ski is request to book, so the card is saved, not charged, until the owner checks the renter. Approve it and the card is charged, the $500 hold is taken and the waiver goes out.
Prices live on a few rate cards instead of on every item. Ask Dash to put the two-hour rate up to $45, see exactly what will change, and both items on that card update.
The eco-tour runs on the same single kayaks as the rental rack. Rent five to a walk-up group and Saturday's tour drops to five seats, so no kayak is sold twice.
Ten paddleboard hours for $199, sold at the till next to the sunscreen. A regular books two boards by telling Dash, puts in her pass code, and the total drops to zero.
Wind and gust limits on every rental and tour. When the afternoon crosses the line, Dash finds the four bookings it hits, and closing those hours sends each one a free reschedule link.
Waiting before the hut opens: pickups and returns, the rush, the weather, and only what needs the owner. Late gear is one tap to see who has it and one more to text them all.
Tours, pickups and returns side by side in the order they happen. A late pickup shows in red, and a walk-up customer's booking opens without leaving the page.
Two kayaks right now and a sunscreen, told to the till in one sentence. Paid on the card machine, then one signing link on the tablet covers everyone on the booking.
Dash reads the waiver, a scan matches the exact jet ski, and the handover checks cover age, boating card, briefing, life jackets and the kill switch. Then a $500 hold on the card.
Four snorkel sets and two kayaks back on one return, each set counted as mask, snorkel, fins and bag. One pair of fins is missing, so $30 comes out of the deposit and the rest goes back.
Guests checked in as they come down to the water, with unsigned waivers flagged on the row. Each one marked back as they land, and Dash says who's still out.
An evening email to tomorrow's jet ski renters to bring ID and their boating card, described in one sentence. Dash builds it, checks it against tomorrow's real bookings, and it runs every night at six.
Dash picks up while the owner is out on the water, checks the rack, books the caller and texts a link to sign and pay. A refund request it passes to the owner instead.
The same day as the counter, on a phone. Mark the last kayaker back from the tour, take back yesterday's late kayak, and ask Dash which pickups are running late.
A day after every rental or tour, once the gear is back, the review goes out by email and text. Happy customers go on to the review pages, an unhappy one comes to the owner first.
Sales by item for the month, then the question no report answers: which hour on a Saturday needs the most boards and kayaks down at the water?
Everything above is standard EquipDash: the booking page, hourly rate cards, tours that share the rental kayaks, the jet ski handover and hold, the wind rules and the phone that answers itself, set up for your hut instead of Bayside.
